About Pelvic Health Physical Therapy

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles in the pelvis that controls urinary, bowel, and sexual function as well as core support.  Symptoms such as pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, urinary urgency/frequency, sexual changes, constipation, lower back pain and core weakness often are due to changes in the pelvic floor.  We are here to help you navigate these common and treatable issue.  Our therapists work with you to discover the root causes of your symptoms and provide a specific treatment program that meets your unique needs, functional goals and lifestyle.

Our Approach

While our practice focuses on issues with the pelvic floor, our method is to treat the whole person.  First and foremost is communication – asking questions and actively listening.  Through this process, we will learn about your challenges, lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, and daily routines as well as your goals and desired outcomes. We will integrate this information to provide the most beneficial treatment program that restores your quality of life.

Awareness

We will listen to and make every effort to understand your story. You will learn to listen to your muscles, nervous system, and patterns.

Coordination

Facilitate and strengthen your deep core to retrain your muscles and patterns

Training
